Pet Transport Agreement

1. All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age at time of transport
2. A valid health certificate including current immunizations must travel with the pet.
3. Royal Rides will supply age appropriate food and bottled water.
If you opt to send a specific type of food please follow these guidelines:
Label the container with name of client and name of pet.
List any special dietary schedule or needs.
Send the amount of food that is appropriate for the number of days of the journey. (space is limited so please no more than the necessary amount of food)
4. Should your pet require medical attention during transport, Royal Rides is authorized to provide such care as is deemed necessary.
All routine medications should be properly labeled with name and dosing instructions and will be supplied by client.
Should emergency care be necessary, I will make every effort to contact you prior to taking any emergency action. However, if you cannot be reached, I will use my discretion to take such steps necessary to ensure the well being of your pet(s). All non-covered charges incurred for veterinary care will be the client’s responsibility.
5. For the safety of my clients and their pets, I will not transport a vicious animal. All pets must be socialized and friendly.
RESCHEDULING
It is important that you notify me immediately upon your change of plans.
In the event that you find yourself needing to reschedule within 48 - 72 hours before transport day, you will be charged an additional fee of 10% of the total agreed cost for rescheduling.
If rescheduling is within 24 - 48 hours, you will be charged an additional 15% of the total agreed cost for rescheduling.
Rescheduling within 24 hours will be considered a cancellation.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up date. If you cancel after the 72 hours deadline, deposit will not be refunded.
PICK-UP:
If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, I may have to continue without your pet. You will be charged for the full amount of the transport cost. We recommend that you make alternative arrangements in case the responsible party is unavailable.
DELIVERY:
If no one is available to receive the animal and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a daily fee of $30.00 per pet to defray the cost of care and boarding. The party who ordered the transport will be responsible for these extra charges. It is highly recommended that alternate arrangements be made in case the person responsible for receiving the animal is unable to do so. The receiver must be available 24 hours a day. Each client is given a scheduled 2-4 day window of time for pick up and delivery. I may need to make a pickup or delivery outside of normal business hours to keep on schedule. Due to conditions beyond my control, I cannot guarantee an exact date or time for pick up or delivery. I will strive to deliver in a timely manner, however the safety and comfort of travelers will override pick up and delivery schedules.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL:
Royal Rides is given the right to refuse acceptance of your pet(s) because of failure to follow the above-mentioned terms, and/or your pet(s) is found to be vicious or sickly.
